DEVELOPMENT OF A NON-THERMAL PLASMA AIR PURIFICATION DEVICE

During this project, a mobile purification device based on non-thermal plasma generated in glow discharge cells was assembled. Studies conducted at INTA (San Martín de la Vega, Campus La Marañosa, Madrid) certified that the elimination of a bacteriophage virus (MS2) is achieved by 75%. Considering the current development stage of our technology, these results are promising given that it is still in a very early stage. Nevertheless, they are promising and are considered very satisfactory as a starting point for the future development of a purifier based on this technology.
